FC STEEL leadership wanted to help teach the players within the club about giving back to the community and being an important part of their character building beyond the pitch. The FC Steel leadership feels that it is never too early to involve your child in giving back, and the more hands-on and meaningful the experiences are, the better.
As a result of this mindset, “Hearts of Steel” has been created. Hearts of Steel is a group of parents, players, and other volunteers that see a need in the community and find ways to help, whether it be raising money or volunteering their time.
Some of these opportunities include volunteering at inner city schools to run clinics, raising money for March of Dimes, and collecting for the Sixth Street shelter.
